FROM THE EDITOR

This week we launched the new irl Media REAL ESTATE channel, and our first video Inside Gisele Bündchen’s Renovated $11 Million Dollar Miami Home.

If you’ve been following along, we already have our 1st YouTube channel irl Media NEWS, which we’re rebranding as our irl Media ENTERTAINMENT channel to focus solely on entertainment related content; think celebrity news, new movies, or anything you would think of as entertaining. We’re in the process of spinning up new, dedicated YouTube channels about entertainment, business, tech, sports, and real estate in order to try and appease the almighty YouTube algorithm.

It turns out it’s harder than I thought it would be, because of YouTube’s policy of Intermediate feature verification in order to post custom thumbnails for videos. You see, you can only verify (2) YouTube channels per year with the same phone number. That means I’ve only been able to get these more advanced features on YouTube by using my phone number for (2) of my YouTube channels: irl Media NEWS and the irl Media NEWS PODCAST. Then I had to find another phone number I could use to verify (2) more of my new channels (thanks unnamed family member).

So stay tuned for next week’s update as I try to find another phone number to verify (2) new YouTube channels. If anyone knows a way around this let me know down in the comments.

Now I’ve got a big question for ya’ll:

If we were to schedule a AMA (Ask Me Anything) on YouTube to share how irl Media NEWS got started, would you attend?
